I made a simple piece of code that determines the number of digits of a given integer. Guess what? It got scrapped. Just so you now, I wouldn't be making such a big fuss about it if only it got scrapped for the right reasons, say, there's a much faster/better code compared to the one I made. But, it got scrapped because the coding guidelines that we're supposed to follow prohibits the use DO-WHILE loops. Why? It didn't day. Honestly, I wouldn't mind not following the guidelines because for me, it totally doesn't make sense. But my groupmates are eager to kiss huge crapper ass and the best way to do it is to strictly adhere to the toilet's oh so sensible coding guidelines.
